The lady who checked us in spoke English well and was very nice. Pretty neat place. Rooms are very minimal but ours did have a mini fridge. Ac worked well, rooms were clean. Beds are very firm. Personally I like my hot water a little hotter but it works. I am used to wash clothes but no place in Italy so far has had them. Bar soap and shampoo is provided but very small, I would consider personal size or single use. There is a lift and a light breakfast in the morning. The location is good if you want to be away from the tourist areas but not if you want to walk to the tourist area.
The hotel receptionists are very nice and helpful. In July, I traveled in Rome and lived Domus Sessorina hotel and enjoyed my stay there. In the last evening, I was in a rush to the airplane bus hub and forgot one of my good-looking white shirt in the bath room. I contacted the receptionists who finally helped me to find and pack my lost shirt and gave it to the delivery man.
If you want a unique setting this hotel is for you. Character and traditional Italian setting on an old monastery. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with air con, bathrooms could do with a upgrade but all clean and adequate. Breakfast is simple but fresh and all you need. Easy access to the metro if you want to visit Romes sites.
